I previously posted my classic healthy chocolate Banana cake in my blog. This new recipe takes an all new direction to strawberry. When I think of strawberries, I hear antioxidants. Enjoy!!!
Yummy and Moist!!
Goalzzzz!!

Ingredients!!

Ingredients

  • 5 whole strawberry (sliced)
  • chocolate pieces (I used unsweetened)
  • 1 medium-sized ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup of overnight soaked oatmeal (link to make this: https://www.nutrientdoctor.com/2018/04/overnight-soaked-oats-power-benefits.html )
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon leveled cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence flavor
  • 1 whole egg
  • 21/2 tablespoon of sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 leveled tablespoon of butter (melted)
    Batter!!!

Method
Heat your oven to 325F (if you don't have an electric oven, make use of the local oven over a stove)
  1. Get a bowl, toss strawberry and chocolate with 1/2 tablespoon sugar and keep aside.
  2. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Get a bowl, and mash bananas with a fork
  4. Add in your cinnamon, vanilla flavor, salt and sugar into the mashed bananas and mix well using a whisk.
  5. Move in 4  into pot containing the butter and whisk well.
  6. Add in overnight soaked oatmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda and whisk well until it's uniform in color.
  7.  Add in the 1 above and fold gently until the batter is well mixed. Pour into a pan.
  8. Bake for 20mins, then reduce the oven to 300F and bake for another 15-mins. Cake it done when a knife is dipped into the center and it comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool (don't be in a hurry to burn your tongue, lol)
Take with a cup of milk or chilled smoothies (you can use any of my recipe).
